Dog Walking
Let me whisk your adored best buddy to a new & exciting locale to enrich his life and break up the daily routine. Somewhere new and different where they’ll be safely entertained for a full hour of exercise, sniffing, and exploring. Depending on your location, this can be a drive to a reserve, park, the beach, or perhaps a private dog park if your dog’s recall isn’t that superb.
Although I don’t do group walks, I do believe that if your dog is well socialised, has good recall, and has no other countervailing issues, group walks are, absolutely, the greatest thing you can do for your dog. And we are so lucky in Nelson to have quite a few great group dog walkers that I can refer you to.
But what if your dog needs special, personal attention? Is “entire” or “in season”? What if your dog’s ears are only for decoration and you haven’t been able (yet!) to train a reliable recall; what if you have an older or arthritic dog, or perhaps a very timid one who just isn’t happy being with other dogs, or has “special needs” (such as Skylar did when I used to pick her up at the vets to walk her as part of her rehabilitation).
There are so many reasons and times your precious puppy might need individual care and taken on their own private adventure. Let’s tailor an exercise and adventure program specifically & specially for your dog’s unique needs.
$35 for an hour walk, one dog
$45 for one-hour walk, two dogs
Private Doggy Daycare
Doesn’t your dog deserve more than spending a day just waiting for you to come home? Wouldn’t you feel better knowing they were having a day filled with joy, play, games, naps & cozy cuddles, exercise, & loving care? Either spending the day in their familiar home environment, or being picked up and taken to their home-away-from-home, your precious puppy will be showered with personalised attention tailored to their unique temperament and needs.
Whether your pup is high-energy or extra snuggly, this isn’t just doggy daycare — it’s peace of mind for you, and pure happiness for them.
For all the reasons already described as to why your treasured pet might require non-pack dog walking, the same applies when you need him or her looked after singly for an entire day. Do you usually work from home but you need to go into the office for the day? A busy professional who’s working more hours than there are in a day? Do you need to attend an event that you can’t bring your dog to? Will a group daycare not take your sweetie because they haven’t been spayed? Are they still recuperating from an injury or a bout of kennel cough? Is your dog simply not happy being with a large or even small group of dogs?
There are SO many reasons why you wish a fairy godmother could just swoop in to save the day: I’m here to help your dog stay happy, active, and loved — just like they would be if you were at home.
